Pinstriping Neil is a German artist and craftsman
dedicated to the timeless tradition of Kustom
Kulture—a movement born in the U.S. and deeply
rooted in custom cars, hot rods, pinstriping, and a
distinctive lifestyle.
Growing up in an American-influenced environment
in Germany since 1976, Neil has always been
immersed in the world of V8 engines, flame paint
jobs, and custom bikes. In the 1980s and '90s, he first
made a name for himself as a DJ for U.S. Armed
Forces, before discovering his true calling in 2009:
classic pinstriping—the art of laying down fine lines
and decorative designs by hand on vehicles and other
surfaces.

Die Liebe zum
americanischen Lifestyle
wurde Neil schon von
Geburt an eingeprägt.
Durch enge Kontakte zu US
Freunden wurde er schon
früh mit der americanischen
Autokultur konfrontiert. Rat
Fink, Ed Roth und Von
Dutch waren schon in
jungen Jahren seine Helden.
Nachdem er einige Jahre
seiner Kreativität auf der
musikalischen Schiene als
DJ für die US Streitkräfte in
diversen Offizierclubs
ausgelebt hatte wurde er
2008 wieder auf die für ihn
nicht unbekannte Kustom-
Kulture Szene aufmerksam.
Die Erinnerungen an all die
tollen Dinge die er noch aus
seiner Kindheit kannte,
Rat Fink-Ed “Big Daddy”
Roth und alles was dazu
gehört, hatten ihn wohl so
geprägt dass das Übel am
Ende seinen Lauf nahm.
2011 besuchte Neil in den
USA “Shane Syx” einen
guten Freund des
verstorbenen “Ed Roth” und
andere Pinstriper die ihn
nach einem gemeinsamen
Panel-Jam in seinem
Vorhaben bestärkten.
2012 und 2014 traf Neil sich
mehrere male mit Herb
Martinez, dabei stand er
ihm unter anderem auch
beim
“Bike & Music Weekend
Geiselwind” als helfende
Hand zur Seite.
